Safe at home

As the clouds rise

As the sun is hidden

As the sky darkens

I am safe at home

As the wind blows

As the trees shake

As the animals tremble

I am safe at home

As gallons of rain pours down

As the lightning strikes

As the thunder growls

I am safe at home

As sorrow fills the room

For the  houses and lives lost

I am glad

That I was safe at home
